As an Obstetrician Gynecologist my greatest joy has been guiding my patients through transitions in life. Although my training focused more on physical health, I know that the connection of mind and body must be addressed to really understand and improve health and well being.
My career in medicine has allowed me to hone my skill of listening and learning from my patients about what is best for their health.
During my 28 years as a physician at Group Health and Kaiser Permanente in Washington I was involved in teaching, leadership, professional development and clinician wellness. I served as the department lead of Ob/Gyn and the Women’s Health Program Chief for the Washington Permanente Medical Group / Kaiser Permanente. I taught medical students and residents and am an Associate Clinical Professor at University of Washington School of Medicine. In my role as Medical Director of Professional Development and Wellness I focused on professional and leadership development for the medical staff and developed our program for Clinician Wellness.
Being in leadership for 20 years inspired me to help others navigate this path , to help them build confidence , and to find their voice as a leader. My passion is developing others, lifting them to navigate change, discover their strengths and values and to witness their personal and professional growth.
I completed Co-Active coaching training through the Coaches Training Institute in August 2020 and have found such joy in this new way of helping others. I retired from my clinical practice in 2021 to have more time for coaching .
I have experienced coaching first-hand and love the possibility of self-discovery and making real change through this process. I have learned that coaching can catapult you forward when perhaps nothing else has worked and I am ready to share this with anyone who wants to both grow and “ come home” to the life they really want both professionally and personally .
My clients are hungry for change, ready to commit to the process and open to the possibilities and choices ahead!
If this looks like a good fit for you…
